I work with small employers with 25 staff or less to encourage them to be inclusive in their recruitment to include people with Disabilities and Health Conditions. I work with both employers and employees to remove barriers to enable employees to concentrate on their job role rather than any outside factor to carry out their job. I encourage employers to see the ability rather than the disability when they recruit. I cover the whole of Northamptonshire and I am happy to visit any employer to discuss further.
My role also includes working with any employer regardless of size on becoming Disability Confident. Once an employer becomes Disability Confident under this government drive they will be able to use the Disablity Confident logo on stationary, help mentor other employers and become a leader in advocating for people with disabilities and health conditions.
